Some fun suggestions you may want to do
The Grand Canyon: It’s a little over three hours drive (okay maybe more like 4) but y’all it’s the Grand canyon!
Old Town Scottsdale: A great spot to explore art galleries, Southwest shops, and local restaurants.
Tlaquepaque Arts Village (Sedona): A stunning, Mexican-style village with fountains and cobblestone paths.
Jeep Tours (Sedona): A classic and fun way to see the red rocks without a strenuous hike - We are doing this one for sure, you should too!
Car Museums: There are 9 of them, this is a Stuart’s pick and we are sure he can tell you all about them!
Scottsdale Fashion Square: Shopping!! This is a luxury high end mall, Louis Vuitton, Gucci and more. Bougie cocktail anyone? They claim to have “luxury resort style bathrooms” I am oddly intrigued IYKYK
Hot Air Balloon Rides: You can do this over Scottsdale or Sedona, in our opinion Sedona is best if you want the red mountain views.
Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center: dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating desert animals like Mexican Gray Wolves, mountain lions, and bears. It’s a working hospital and sanctuary, so it is by appointment only—be sure to book a guided "Walk with Wildlife" tour in advance.
McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park: Something fun for the littles or for a dose of nostalgia and family-friendly fun. A unique 30-acre park features scenic miniature train rides, a vintage carousel, and an impressive model railroad museum.
OdySea Aquarium: As the largest aquarium in the Southwest, it features a unique rotating theater experience, underwater tunnels, and interactive touch pools - the kids will like this one!
Pro Tip: Don't miss the OdySea Voyager, the world’s only revolving aquarium exhibit, and be sure to check the daily schedule for penguin feedings!

To make the house feel like home during our 4-day stay, we invite everyone to pick up any personal favorite snacks, beverages, or specific breakfast/lunch items they’d like to have on hand. There is plenty of kitchen space to store your finds. Safeway is a mile from the house or you could try out AJ’s Fine Foods, they are known for their yummy fresh gourmet salads.
